Finance Director
Anila joined Lumos in February 2017 as an interim Finance Director and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. She is responsible for operational and strategic financial management, the implementation of a global finance system and ensuring the team structure will support the organisation’s long term international growth.
Anila is a qualified Certified Chartered Accountant. Her financial management experience began in 1984 within the banking and corporate sector. In 1999, she moved into the third sector working for national and international educational, environmental and health charities such as Common Purpose, Education Support Partnership, Forum for the Future and Target Ovarian Cancer. In these roles, she worked on developing financial sustainability and revenue opportunities for financing based on emerging risks. She also helped develop the corporate and governance structures and central functions to support national and international expansion.
Anila joined Lumos because she believes every child belongs with a family and is very proud to be part of Lumos’ work. Anila lives in Essex with her husband. In her spare time, she does volunteering work for the British Heart Foundation, loves travelling and follows Chelsea Football Club.
