Working closely with the Operations Manager, the Operations Assistant will provide high quality administrative support to the Head of Operations and support the Operations Manager with global operations projects, as well as providing support to the project management office (PMO) and operations in the UK.
This role will provide high quality support to the Human Resources Department on all the administrative needs, to ensure the team are providing support, guidance and a high quality service for all our Lumos colleagues.
As part of the government’s Kickstart scheme, the role is available to anybody aged 16-24 and in receipt of Universal Credit and young people can apply by visiting their local job centre and speaking to their Work Coach and referencing the job title below.We’re working in partnership with Charityworks, the UK-non-profit sector’s Kickstart gateway as part of a collaborative effort to power up our sector with exceptional talent and make a real impact on youth unemployment. So as part of their paid job at Lumos, successful applicants will also take part in a supported 6-month development offer delivered by Charityworks. The programme will equip the young person with the connections, experiences, tools and insight needed to succeed in their day job, and will also help them to build a peer community, and skills to transition well beyond the placement, and develop long term careers in the non-profit sector.
