Usman is Chief Strategy Officer at HodlCo, a holding company backed by permanent, long-term capital to build and invest at the forefront of disruptive technology. Usman is a Co-Founder of Haven, a mixed-reality platform building the future of immersive mental wellness and serves on the Board of Kaikaku, a company disrupting the food industry with robotics and AI.
Prior to this, Usman was the youngest Partner at Mobius Capital Partners, an emerging and frontier markets investment firm. Usman was also an Investment Analyst at NY-based Caravel Management where he focused on an emerging and frontier markets sustainability fund (now part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management). Usman has published on ESG investing in emerging and frontier markets for the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Routledge, and the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). Usman was named as one of the top 30 sustainable and responsible investors (SRI) under 30 in 2019.
