Short film (2 minutes) telling the story of Sonya and her son from Bulgaria: When Sonya’s baby was born in 2015, she was told by doctors that he would not be able to walk and that he should be placed in an institution 100miles away from her home in order to get medical treatment. Lumos worked with social workers and the authorities for three months, to successfully get her baby out of the institution and back home with Sonya, where they are now getting the support they need.
