Lumos Prize Draw announced with signed Dame Shirley Bassey score from original song in Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions

04.05.2026

Editor’s note: On Sunday 10th May, 2026, the Lumos Prize Draw close date was extended to 15th May, 2026.

Lumos, the international children’s organisation founded by J.K. Rowling, today announces an exclusive prize draw with support by partners, Pottermore Publishing and Audible.

Harry Potter fans and music lovers across the UK and USA have the chance to win a unique piece of memorabilia: a signed musical score by Dame Shirley Bassey, the legendary Welsh singer who has sold more than 140 million records worldwide and famously performed the theme songs for three James Bond films.

The prize celebrates Bassey’s recent recording as the voice of Celestina Warbeck, the character she originally inspired in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, in Audible’s exclusive full-cast audio edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

One grand-prize winner will receive:

  • A signed score by Dame Shirley Bassey from her performancas Celestina Warbeck in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the Full-Cast Audio Edition, a one-of-a-kind collectible from one of Britain’s most celebrated vocalists.
  • A complete set of the Harry Potter™: The Full Cast Audio Edition, the immersive seven-book audiobook series featuring an all-star cast.

Two runner-up winners will each receive a complete set of the Harry Potter™: The Full Cast Audio Editions.

Every £5 donated to Lumos Foundation via the entry portal generates one entry (maximum five entries per person). A free postal entry option is also available. The draw is open now and closes at 11:59pm BST on Friday 15 May 2026, with winners drawn no later than 29 May 2026.

All proceeds from the prize draw will directly support Lumos’ global mission to transform care systems so that children can grow up in safe, loving families rather than institutions. An estimated 5.4 million children worldwide are currently living in institutional settings.

The Lumos Prize Draw takes place in the 25th anniversary year of the Harry Potter film series. It arrives as anticipation grows for the new Harry Potter TV series premiering on HBO Max this Christmas and approaching Dame Shirley Bassey’s special 90th birthday next year.

About Lumos

Lumos works to realise every child’s right to a family by transforming care systems around the world. Our vision is a world in which all children grow up in safe and loving families within supported communities.

Founded in 2005 by author J.K. Rowling, Lumos partners with governments, civil society and young people with lived experience to transform care systems globally and advocate for family-based solutions that help children thrive. We ensure that families receive the support they need to stay together or reunite, and that children grow up in family-based settings such as foster or kinship care, not institutions. Despite clear evidence of the harms of institutionalisation, an estimated 5.4 million children worldwide continue to live in institutions. And a much larger number of children are at risk of institutionalisation – those living in poverty, experiencing domestic violence and abuse, and living in countries affected by conflict.
