The Lumos Partnership Model

Over more than 20 years, we have learnt that every family, locality, and country has its own care context. Those working to reform care systems share a common goal, but often lack the coordination, insights and resources needed to create lasting change. To meet this challenge, we developed the Lumos Partnership Model.

The partnership model delivers through four complementary pathways. It enables a phased approach with a planned exit for Lumos when new systems are ready to scale and sustain nationwide progress.

Each of the four delivery pathways can be deployed individually or in combination. They provide technical expertise, practical tools, training, economic modelling and access to finance. Together, they support the transition from institutional to family-based care and prevent more children being separated from families.
