Empowering Children and Young People with Disabilities to Improve Responses to Child Abuse and Neglect

This report focused on the activities carried out by children and young people from the Club for Healthy Changes within the project “Empowering Children and Young People With Disabilities to Improve Responses to Child Abuse and Neglect”. The project lasted for 20 months – from June 2014 to January 2016.

The project is about helping children and young people understand what abuse and neglect is and how they should behave in situations where abuse or neglect happen. The professionals who work with children and young people were also trained in order to provide better protection for children with disabilities when they find themselves in such a situation.
