Update on Lumos in Ukraine

Lumos is undertaking a strategic transition of its work in Ukraine. As our humanitarian work reaches completion, we are refocusing on our core mission of care reform, through a sustainable, partnership-led approach. To support this programmatic shift, we are also changing our operating model in Ukraine.

In the context of increasing operational and security complexities and risks, a partnership-led approach will also provide a more sustainable and flexible basis for Lumos to support the next phase of care reform in Ukraine.

The transition of our operating model, which will take time to complete, is a change in how we work in Ukraine, not a change in our commitment to children in Ukraine. We remain fully committed to improved outcomes for all children and families in Ukraine.
