About Lumos
Lumos Foundation, founded by J.K. Rowling, believes every child deserves to grow up in a safe and loving family – not in an institution. Around the world, an estimated 5.4 million children are separated from their families because of poverty, discrimination, or lack of access to basic services. Lumos works to change that by helping families stay together, supporting community care, and transforming systems that rely on institutions.
When you enter this prize draw, you’re helping Lumos shine a light on the root causes of family separation and build a future where every child can grow up in a nurturing home.
